Karin Hurt

Story Learner and Teller

I have a diverse background of executive leadership experience in sales, customer service, human resources, merger integration, training and leadership development.  The last 17 years of which have been with the Verizon Companies. I currently serve as Executive Director in Customer Service National Operations at Verizon Wireless.

My favorite work is to ask questions and inspire others to look deeply within themselves as they grow as leaders.

I have degrees in Communication from Wake Forest University and Towson University, and have studied with incredible teachers and taught undergraduate communications classes at the University of MD, College Park.

I am a yogi that loves to run, sing, hike and travel.  I know the reflective road of the marathon runner,  the silence of the yoga mat, and the joy of a great song… all of which inspire my leadership.
